Teacher training from Poole SCITT
Poole SCITT is a 'Schools-Centered Initial Teacher Training Course' leading to a Post-Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) in Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status. Created through partnerships between participating primary schools across Poole, Bournemouth and Dorset and with Kingston University, to offer initial primary teacher training for up to 36 suitably qualified graduates. Ad Astra Infant School are the Lead School for Poole SCITT.
Accredited by the National College for Teaching and Leadership (NCTL) as an official provider of initial teacher training, it has been graded by OFSTED as Outstanding in all areas. Validated for PGCE status, the course carries 'M' level credits towards a Masters degree.
