Our PTA

Hello and welcome to Haymoor Parents Association (HPA) web page.

Haymoor Parents’ Association works together with the school to provide educational extras for the children.  To register as a charity, there needs to be a minimum committee, but it would not be possible to put on the events and fund raise without the fantastic support from parents.

We hold events such as discos, movie nights, fireworks night, and new this year, an activity night!  We run raffles (with some amazing prizes such as free tickets to local attractions), and most years have a family bingo night.

All the money we raise goes to the school, and this year we have been able to: purchase new picnic tables; subsidise school trips; buy items for food tech, sewing, special person days, Easter treats day, SATS party, leavers do; supply dictionaries, magazine subscriptions, book tokens.  We have also contributed to the new bike shed, and to the mini buses.

Hopefully you are wondering “what can I do to help?”  And the answer is as little or as much as you can!  We aim to meet once each half term to discuss upcoming events and everyone is welcome.  Other ways to get involved include sharing ideas, volunteering at an event or two, envelope stuffing (think for Christmas card orders!), sourcing raffle prizes, and of course sending your children along to the events!  If you would like to know more, and/or get involved please contact us at the email above, find us on Facebook: Haymoor Parents Association, or on Instagram: haymoor_parents_association.  We would love to hear from you!
